Veneers are glass-ceramic plates, 0.3-0.5 mm thick, that are bonded to the front surface of teeth using modern adhesive technologies. Veneers allow for correction of tooth shape, position, and color, eliminate aesthetic defects, and protect teeth from damage.
Artistic restoration is the most accurate reproduction of the structure of the tooth, taking into account the individual characteristics of the human oral cavity. The main criterion for the quality of the work performed is that the artificial tooth should not stand out among other teeth, so the doctor carefully selects the shape and color.
Filling — restoration of the integrity of the tooth, closing cavities formed as a result of caries. So, first of all, filling is a treatment, the anatomical structure of the tooth is not restored.

Direct restoration is a quick way to restore the shape and function of a tooth using a modern composite. Before the procedure, a separate consultation is carried out: this is not a stage of treatment, but a visit during which the doctor examines the tooth, assesses the situation and discusses further actions. The direct restoration itself is performed in one visit. During the procedure, the dentist removes the tissues affected by caries, prepares the cavity and immediately restores the tooth with a composite. The material is applied in layers, which allows you to accurately reproduce the anatomy, provide strength and natural appearance.

Indirect ceramic restoration is a high-precision and durable way to restore teeth, which allows you to obtain a strong, aesthetic and stable structure. The process consists of several consecutive visits.
The first visit includes the preparation of the tooth for the future ceramic pad or crown. After preparation, an intraoral scan is performed, during which digital data are obtained. They are transferred to the dental laboratory, where an individual ceramic structure is manufactured with high adhesion accuracy.
The second visit is dedicated to fixing the finished restoration. The doctor checks the fit density, color, contacts and reliably cements the pad or crown. The patient immediately receives a functional and aesthetic result.
Sometimes an additional optional visit may be necessary — a check-up after a few days to monitor adaptation and, if necessary, correction of occlusion. This approach provides maximum comfort and long-lasting results.

FAQ
Indications: aesthetic defects (chips, cracks, uneven edges), enamel defects, small cavities in the anterior region, tooth shape irregularities, restoration following root canal treatment in the frontal area, and replacement of old, unaesthetic inlays or fillings. Also suitable for correcting diastemas (gaps between teeth) and minor orthodontic aesthetic adjustments.
Artistic restoration is the process of restoring a tooth with a focus on aesthetics: the shape, color, translucency, and texture of the materials are carefully selected to ensure the restoration is virtually invisible. Unlike standard fillings (functional restorations), artistic restoration typically requires more precise polishing, multi-layered composite application, and may involve intraoral scanning or laboratory work to achieve a completely natural look.
Light-cured composites are used for direct restorations, typically lasting 5–7 years.
Ceramics are used for indirect restorations, known for their high strength and durability, lasting 10–15 years or more.
Direct restoration is performed in a single visit: the dentist examines the tooth, removes the damaged tissue, and restores it immediately with composite material.
Indirect ceramic restoration requires 2 visits:
An additional follow-up appointment is scheduled if necessary.
For most procedures in the anterior zone, anesthesia may not be necessary; however, if the area is close to the pulp or the patient is sensitive, the doctor will administer local anesthesia. You may experience minor discomfort for 1–2 days following the procedure.
For the first 24–48 hours after the procedure, avoid hard or chewy foods. Maintaining a regular oral hygiene routine (brushing twice a day and flossing) along with preventive check-ups every 6–12 months is essential. Avoid smoking and consuming excessive amounts of staining foods and drinks (such as black tea, coffee, and red wine) for the first few days. Over time, the composite may become slightly discolored, but professional polishing or cleaning will easily resolve this.
Risks: potential discoloration of the restoration over time, composite detachment, sensitivity to hot or cold (temporary or if near the pulp), and imperfect color matching. If you experience any symptoms, such as pain, noticeable movement of the restoration, or discoloration, please contact your dentist for an adjustment or replacement.
